For this series of our Little Chats we meet with Ella Mittas, a Melbourne-based cook who’s just released her first cookbook. Ella puts an emphasis on food with soul, something that comes from her Greek upbringing. We love looking at her photos, where we can see the warmth that’s being exchanged between the people in her life when making food. We’ve all experienced the familiarity and joy that comes from creating a dining experience with others in order to share our food with the people we love, and this is the essence that is captured in Ella’s approach.
